They wanted to hear about the foxes, a story I'd told them once, months earlier. http://www.stbede.org/church/pastor-archive/tell_us_the_story.html The impact of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita certainly took its toll on our steady progress in evaluation of our parish's participation in the archdiocesan self-assessment process. The work has continued, if not with the same sense of urgency we once had. It is amazing to see how caught up we were (and still are, in many ways) with outreach to people in need along the Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama Gulf Coasts.
