Parents who are making preparations to have their baby baptized need to call the Parish Office and set up a Parent Pre-Baptism Session with our Baptism Preparation Team.  All arrangements are made at this meeting and necessary forms are completed. The session is scheduled at a agreeable time in the Parish Hall.  Anyone expecting a baby within 3 months is encouraged to make arrangements before the birth of their child.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

RCIA is a journey of faith through which interested adults grow in their relationship with God, become familiar with Catholic teachings and practices, and get acquainted with people in the parish. RCIA is recommended for anyone who is interested in joining the Catholic faith or anyone who may have been baptized Catholic, but did not receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist). The group meets on Wednesdays, September through May, 7:00- 8:30pm in the Parish Hall. The journey culminates with full reception into the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil, receiving the Sacraments of Initiation. Parishioners who would like to be a sponsor, or desire information for participants, call the Director of Religious Education. This is a great way of participating in spreading the Good News. Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC)

This process is for un-baptized children who are old enough to learn their faith, and for those of an older age who have been baptized as infants, but who have not received religious education or receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, or Confirmation. This preparation is a journey of faith for the children and their parents. The groups meet on Sundays, September through May, 10:15-11:15am in the parish school.

Children's Liturgy of the Word/Children's Church

A special Liturgy of the Word for children ages 4 years through 1st grade is offered during the Sunday 9:00am and 11:30am Masses. The goal of this exciting ministry is to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word with children in a language that they can understand. This is done through the children's lectionary, children's materials, music, puppetry, storytelling, and activities that relate to the weekly Gospel. Each session starts in the parish's celebration of Mass when the priest dismisses the children and catechists after the Opening Prayer. Children's Church lesson takes place in the parish hall, and the children are returned to the "Big Church" at the Offertory.

Adult Faith Formation Sessions

We hope to see both familiar and new faces this fall. Please consider joining us and taking some time for your own personal, spiritual growth.
