ST. BEDE THE VENERABLE CATHOLIC CHURCH
3870 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama, 36109 (334) 272-3463 Fax (334) 272-3492
Since its beginnings as a mission church in the 1920s, Saint Bede the Venerable Parish has steadily grown into the large, yet close-knit community of 1,000+ households. St. Bede works collaboratively with the Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School system; the St Bede campus has an enrollment of 200 children from Pre-K4 to 6th Grade. In addition, St Bede Parish offers a safe and educational Catholic environment for its pre-school infants up to age 3 in its Catholic Children's Ministry opening in the fall of 2014. We also reach out into the greater community through various ministries.

Catholic Children's Ministry @ St. Bede: A New Beginning
It is with hope, mercy and God's love that the parish begins to care for and help the parents of our families to educate their most precious gifts, - their children. Making full use of all our resources, St. Bede has begun its new Children's ministry fully alive in the Catholic faith. Please keep this vital and delicate ministry in your prayers for the blessing of all the children.

ST. JOHN XXIII CATECHIST PROGRAM. Have any of your catechists ever had a student ask, “How do we know that Jesus rose from the dead?” Or, “Can I be Catholic and believe in evolution?” Or maybe they tell you that someone asked them if they were saved. They want to help their student, but maybe they aren’t sure how to answer. I am excited to announce a new series in the Archdiocese of Mobile that is designed to help catechists be an ever greater resource for the people to whom they minister. . . . . read more
